The Rastriya Lokswaraj Party (RLSP) is a political movement born from the belief that true democracy means people governing their own lives — not just electing representatives every few years. We envision a India where every citizen has a direct voice in the decisions that shape their community, their livelihood, and their future.
Founded on the principles of lokswaraj — people's self-governance — our party stands for a decentralized, transparent, and accountable political system where power flows from the grassroots upward. We reject the politics of patronage and embrace the politics of participation.
We are farmers, teachers, entrepreneurs, youth, elders, and citizens from every corner of India who believe that the solutions to our nation's challenges lie within our communities — not in distant corridors of power. Together, we are building a new political culture rooted in service, integrity, and collective wisdom.

Lokswaraj (लोकस्वराज) means "people's self-governance" — a system where citizens have direct authority over the decisions that affect their daily lives, rather than delegating all power to elected representatives who may be distant from the people they serve.
You can join by filling out the membership form on this website, visiting any of our district offices, or attending a local chapter meeting. Membership is open to all Indian citizens aged 16 and above who share our principles.
No. RLSP is an independent, homegrown Indian political movement. We do not receive funding from or take direction from any foreign political party, government, or international organization.
Our candidate selection process is transparent and participatory. Candidates are nominated by local party units and selected through a combination of primary elections and central committee review, prioritizing integrity and community service.
We are committed to internal democracy — our party practices the self-governance we advocate for the nation. Decisions are made from the bottom up, our finances are publicly audited, and our leaders are accountable to members, not to a centralized power structure.
